Printing on to DVD-R
A lot of our customers prefer to duplicate the DVDs themselves for various reasons either the software is being updated regularly or they have various versions going out so the run size is quite small. The problem is how do they make the duplicated DVD look professional? At Swift Duplication we have the answer.
There are three ways we can pre-print your DVDs ready for duplication, Litho, screen or ink-jet print. If you have a full colour image going on to the DVD and the run is over 100 litho print will provide you with the best quality image, this is the same sort of print you would find when you buy movies on DVD. Screen printed DVDs provide the best result when pantone colours (specific colours) are used. Ink-jet printed DVDs are great for shorter runs or you are on a budget.
Whatever your requirement we will help you every step of the way advising you of the best option and how the artwork should be presented to achieve the finish you would want.
One important note to remember when printing on a DVD-R in one colour without a base colour the silver isn’t on the top as with a CD-R, it’s in the middle so it can create a shadow effect that some people don’t like.
